HandBrake for PowerPC Macs

Just today I wanted convert some DVD from the original physical media to something my Android-based HDMI player would play and I discovered that my good old HandBrake 0.9.4 for PowerPC doesn't want to cooperate with the latest PowerPC version of VLC. I can understand that, since VLC 2.0.10 is 2014 and HandBrake is from times when even Apple still supported PowerPC - from 2009.

I did a bit of googling and found this build of HandBrake 0.9.5 from 2012 which appears to solve the problem. It still displays warning that no 32-bit VLC was found, but - unlike the 0.9.4 version - after clicking "Atempt scan anyways" it works. Maybe you already know it, I didn't and it made my day better.
